My Harps

Welcome to this portfolio, a place to share the joy of crafting harps. While not every harp is pictured, more images will be added over time. I have built many harps in a variety of models and styles, with custom carvings being my favorite part of the process.

Creating these harps has been the most rewarding work of my life. I owe a special thanks to my father-in-law, Alex Marini, for sharing this craft with me and to Sue, Tony, Paul, and Mark for welcoming me into the family business. With his nearly 30 years of experience making harps, Alex has introduced me to his wonderful world. It is my dream to continue this legacy and lead the shop for the next generation. I’ll be setting up a workshop in Tennessee soon to expand this work! 

Of my many exacting projects, the satisfaction of fine woodworking and creating beautiful instruments that produce rich, moving music is unparalleled. Many years as an automotive technician makes me appreciate the meticulous craftsmanship required in instrument design. The wood shop feels warm and inviting, filled with the rich scent of fresh-cut wood. It’s a welcome change from the automotive shop!
