The first of its kind—a double-strung lyre.
Okay, I’m sure it’s been done before. In fact, there are plenty of people who have strapped two lyres back-to-back to make a double-strung one.
This one was inspired by one such player. She had two lyres Velcroed together. It worked, but it was a bit awkward. She wanted one instrument built specifically for the way she plays—easy to handle, well balanced, and stable while playing.
And here’s the result. A resonant, clear sounding lyre, with the echoing of a double strung.
