Parallel Double Strung 22

The Soulstice

44 Strings On A Wearable Harp

44 Strings in 6 Lbs

This harp was built for movement—lightweight, wearable, and fully playable while standing. Most harps, especially double-strung ones, are too bulky for that kind of freedom. I wanted something you could walk into a room with, play a tune, and move on.

Instead of the usual awkward harness setups, this design uses a simple X-strap: two crossed guitar straps, fully adjustable for balance and comfort. It feels secure, distributes weight evenly, and actually works—unlike most single-strap rigs.

Double-strung harps are typically heavier, but this one breaks the mold. It’s compact, well-balanced, and surprisingly stable. The concept came from a request for a portable instrument that could be used while walking hospital halls—focused on midrange tones and quick mobility.

It’s about the size of a guitar, but more comfortable in your lap. And it’s not just practical—it looks good. Thanks to digital carving and etching, detailed custom designs are more affordable than ever. Want something showy? Hand carving is still on the table.

Is this harp for you? If you’re after rich tone and deep bass without amps, go big. But if you want to play on the move—in a forest, a hospital, even in your car—this harp (or its sibling, the Solace) delivers. It’s small, double-strung, and built for freedom.
