21 Strings Of Soothing Mid Range

The Soulace

Wearable Therapy

21 Strings Right out of the Middle.

The name is a blend—a quiet nod to both soul and comfort. This harp was designed with therapeutic music in mind, made to be played wherever you are.

Harps are diverse instruments. Many different types of music can benefit from the melodic resonance of a harp. Mostly, though, it’s associated with classical music or some Irish music… but that just depends on who is playing. A major association for the harp is its use in therapy going all the way back to David calming King Saul down 3000 years ago. This harp was inspired by the use of the middle strings mainly by people playing in hospitals or nursing homes. The most soothing range to play in.

Its range is limited, but intentionally so. The 21 strings are centered around the middle tones—those warm, calming notes that offer peace without drama. To keep it light and portable, the lower strings were sacrificed (they’d be too long), and the upper ones were cut out as well, since the highest notes aren’t always the most soothing. It’s high enough for distinct melodies and low enough to feel the bass notes.

What’s left is a gentle middle ground. It’s perfect for a peaceful walk through the woods… or for playing quietly in the car somewhere between home and work—just for your own well-being.
